International Intercultural Studies (IIS)

IIS 130 Introduction to East Asian Studies: Diversity 5 Credits
Focuses on cultural, social, and political elements of East Asian countries, including customs, art, religion, history, and literature. Students will participate in cultural activities, projects, and field trips in the US and/or study abroad programs to East Asia.
Prerequisite: None.

IIS 210 International Cultural Studies 1-5 Credits
Studies the culture(s) of one country or region of the world, focusing on the relationships between the geographic, artistic, historic, religious, politico-legal and socio-economic components and the culture's relationship to the global community. Specific culture of focus will change each quarter as selected by the instructor.
